They are equipped with the Dry Hatch Technology™:

A proven breakthrough in incubation

This proven technological incubation process has now been installed all over the world and in the most diverse

climates with exceptional results and success.

The “Dry Hatch” achieves better, stronger and more vigorous chicks while ensuring that bio-security is second

to none.

The Dry Hatch Technology™ keeps the incubator temperature stable by using cooling water that is above the Dew Point.

Water is the enemy of incubation. If water is present it fuels the growth of bacteria, mold and fungus. These

are detrimental to incubation and embryo growth.

Better Chick Quality:

Independent, comparative studies have shown that Dry Hatch Technology™ produces alert, dry and active uniform day old chicks. The navels close better because of the rapid drying activated due to the lack of excess water

present in hatchers contrary to running traditional incubation with cold water. Chicks are visibly better. Studies

also indicate lower first week mortality, better FCR and a better growth rate due to their better start with

the Dry Hatch ™.

Stable control:

Temperature, humidity, ventilation and CO2 are kept under better control using Dry Hatch Technology™. The larger surface

area, for cooling the incubators, makes the heat exchange far more effective and keeps the temperature

within set points. It reduces set point overshoots such as in traditional incubators.

Easier and faster cleaning:

In the Dry Hatch Technology ™ incubator no fluff sticks to the cooling pipes, making the cleaning process a lot easier

and faster. Combined with EMKA Incubators™ unique fluff air filtering system, both hatcher and fluff tunnel stay

extremely tidy. Cleaning time after each hatch is thus reduced to an absolute minimum.

No more condensation in the machine:

The dew point, in normal incubator conditions, is situated around 25 – 26 °C. With Dry Hatch Technology™ it is

above the dew point, no condensation whatsoever is formed in the incubator. The cooling pipes remain dry

and free from fluff for heat exchange. The floor and walls remain dry so no mold, fungal or bacterial growth.

Extreme energy savings (dependent on climatic conditions):

If your hatchery is in a climate where the weather is regularly below 24°C then the cooling water can be

cooled naturally & without the use of costly, expensive to run chillers, resulting in a cheaper to run incubation

process.

The Dry Hatch Technology™ allows you to trust that our incubators will outperform your expectations.
